WARNING: Stop SMOKING before you go BALD!

But did you know that smoking causes baldness as well, to men in particular?


According to softpedia.com, as quoted:

Male baldness affects 70 % of men as they grow older, and the main inner biological cause is a genetic vulnerability of the hair follicle to testosterone, the male sex hormone. But smoking seems to speed up what hormones trigger.



Studies have shown that increased smoke intake links to more severe baldness. Those who puff at least 20 sticks of cigarette a day were most likely to accelerate the development of hair loss than those whose baldness are hereditary.


So, the next time you see yourself smoking, ask yourself, "am I ready to go bald?"
